Originally intended for a setup with dedicated speakers and a mic. I was able to work around it with an option in Mumble (voip tool) called echocancellation.

Since I tested either front and back panel, 2 headsets, both realtek and microsoft drivers it leads me to some poor input converters on a hardware level. To make things even more strange, when I play music for instance or play a game ppl can hear it, as soon as it is loud enough. In every scenario it carries a noticable static noise that gets of course enhanced by the microphone boost option (a boost of 20db is necessary to even hear my voice loud enough).

With the realtek driver AND with the standard microsoft one. I changed this to Dutch.Ok from what I tested the "cross-talk" issue appears both when connecting the headset to the front panel AND the back directly to the motherboard. In the language drop down it had niederlandish for Dutch. PS- If you are OK with these change I could do it if you like. for the ports if would be nice if they were TCP/UDP and then the port nubmer, just because of the voice channel being default UDP.Ģ) Would like to see the web interface button moved to the toolbar.
I should also mention the client apps are not free for TS3, $1.99 on Google PlayStore and €4.99 for the iOS plugin:ġ) in the field info. settings, multiple servers/channels) to mess with go TS3. If you are a geek and want tons of options (i.e. If you want to get something up fast and simple go Mumble. Once logged in you can change the pass to something more manageable, easier to remember. Copy the password and then paste it in the password field of the Web Interface for first login. Click on the eye on the right side to show the password. Also, on the Settings page of the plugin the Server Query Admin Password is the password for the Web Interface. It is a good idea to click on this and put a check mark in "Hands Free" if you are not using a headset and "Bluetooth" if you are using a bluetooth headset.

Back to the android client app for TS3, there is a wrench symbol at the top 3rd from the right. If you have not used the TS3 server before it will take some time to familiarize yourself with it. TS3 is definitely the more feature rich when it comes to the server. From a client standpoint the TS3 and Mumble apps are about the same difficulty where setup is concerned. With the iOS app the default voice port had to be entered. With the Android app I did not even have to enter the Voice port number. The other 2 port settings are TCP by default. There was nothing on the settings page that said the default voice port was UDP. There were some things that were not clear. I used Push to Talk with Mumble minus headsets. I was getting some feedback issues with Mumble but if you have a headset this will not be an issue.
The Plumble client app from the Google play store I found to be very good. Mumble was definitely a lot easier to setup if you are only looking for one channel/server. I was testing and using both of these over the last couple days.
